Then Rupert took Green Ball down to the beach to get some sun.20140716-Rupert-(8)After a while, Rupert got worried that Green Ball might get sun burned.20140716-Rupert-(5)When I called Rupert for dinner, he brought Green Ball along.20140716-Rupert-(11)Rupert asked if Green Ball could stay for dinner.
“Green Ball needs to get permission from his mom,” I said.
“We already called and she said ‘YES!’, ” Rupert panted.
And Rupert shared his dinner with Green Ball.20140718-Rupert-(33)And Green Ball ate his fill.
Rupert was happy to share with his new friend.20140718-Rupert-(26)After dinner they played together for about an hour.
Then it was time to wind down and get ready for bed.
Rupert asked if Green Ball could do a sleep over.
“Of course,” I said, “as long as it’s OK with Mrs. Green Ball.”

After some rowdiness and resistance to brushing teeth, they settled down.
