The tide was low enough this morning to get on the sand spit that we see from our living room.
We’ve done this run on the spit three times… her favorite run.
The first time she went for a full swim.
This time she discovered the joy of seaweed and mud!
A shower was a must.
Zooey was great about it. Walked right into the shower
and never protested while I scrubbed of the sand, mud and gunk.
When I let her out of the shower, she dived into the towels I put on the floor for her.
She does love a good rub down with a dry towel.
After lots of drying, Zooey settled down with her favorite toy.
