2:05 pm It’s a bright sunny day today. The girls are in a good mood. When I opened the coop, they huddled around me briefly then set out to graze with great gusto.
Lizbeth took the lead and began working the rhododendrons near the house. The others spread out.
Susan came along and took many of these pictures.

Brought out the meal worms to see if the girls would want to eat out of our hands.
Lizbeth and Lupe stepped up. The others hung back. They didn’t even try.

When it came time for them to return to the coop, none of them wanted to go.
This was a first. They ran me ragged. I could only get one and two at a time back in the coop.
If Susan wasn’t there to open the door to let ‘em in and keep the others
from running out, I’d still be trying to round them up.
Got 5 eggs.
Lucy’s box had 4 of them, but they were all cold.
Has Lucy given up trying to hatch her eggs?
