09-05-14 Lucky Retires to Cowichan Bay
After more than 12 years of dedicated service to the Agency, Lucky has retired. As always, she has done this on her own terms and in her own way. Early last August she dropped out of sight. It was thought she was on one of her week long deep cover operations. It’s been over a month now since she was due to check in.
Joe Friday reached out to his contacts in the coyote community and learned that Lucky had paid one of them to smuggle her onto a fishing boat, The Wicked Minnow, at Poulsbo Marina. She does love to dine well. Two weeks ago, The Wicked Minnow docked at Cowichan Bay Wharf, Vancouver Island, British Columbia (Canada).
Security cameras caught this image of Lucky as she disembarked from The Wicked Minnow at Cowichan Bay.
Reliable sources report that Lucky was hired on to handle night security at the wharf. During the day she’s been seen hanging out at the True Grain Bakery. She knows how to land on her feet.
Lucky, we miss you and wish you well.
Thank you for taking care of us in ways we will never know.
One question remains… who will Lucky send to take her place?
